| WEDDINGS FAQ: We love your work...how much do you charge? Our basic shoot starts at $4,000. FAQ: What does that mean & what do I get with that? A basic shoot means no albums or books are included. What you get: -Alfonse covering your wedding for 8 hours -a second photographer -4x6 proofs (800-1,000 photos in proof books) -one DVD copy of all images (your digital negatives) -web hosting (password protection available) FAQ: Are there any hidden costs? No. We like telling you exactly what you get for your money. Let's face it, clarity works both ways, you rest easy and so do we. FAQ: How long have you been in business? Since 1993. FAQ: Can you give us names of past clients for references? Absolutely. Just ask and it shall be given. FAQ: What if my wedding is longer than 8 hours? We include one hour travel time within the tri-state area when necessary and from over a decade of experience, we believe 8 hours gives a complete coverage of your day. However, if you would like for us to stay longer our overtime rate is $350 an hour. FAQ: What do the proofs look like? Our proofs are actual 4x6 prints which are inserted into 3-ring binder books. These prints are excellent enough to make your own albums with or give as gifts if you can part with them. FAQ: Is the second photographer your assistant? No. My second photographer is an associate whose talent I respect and someone who gets what I'm after. We've worked together numerous years and he is there to get the shots from angles I can't get to and the result is a well-rounded documentation of your wedding day. FAQ: How long does it take to get the proofs? Proofs are ready for pick up at our studio two weeks after the wedding. Rare exceptions of delays may happen due to holidays and even rarer, but it's happened, proofs may have to be reprinted if we feel they do not meet our standard of quality. FAQ: When do we get our DVD or digital negatives? When you come to pick up your proofs. FAQ: How long before our images are up online? Your photos are ready to view within 2-3 days after your wedding. Your family and friends can access them as well and if that does not sound appealing, we can set up a password protected site. FAQ: What sort of packages do you offer? We offer an array of albums and books using only the best in the business. Our books are priced according to the number of prints and style of book you choose. Price ranges from $700 - $2,500. Our rule is, there are no rules...we can customize your book to fit your budget and taste. FAQ: How do packages work? In our case, you take the price of the basic shoot and add on the price of the album and voila! you have yourself a package. FAQ: Can I order my album later? Absolutely, there is no time limit so you can order your album anytime. FAQ: What is required to book my date? A 20% deposit along with a signed contract. Balance is due day of the wedding. FAQ: What is Motion? Motion is a custom made movie of your wedding put into a quick Time Video format. Completely unique, Completely exciring.
